Overview
Diamond Edge Cutting carried out extensive structural demolition and alterations at Al Khail Avenue Mall, a ground-plus-eight-storey mall with two basement levels, as part of a major reconfiguration. The scope included complete demolition of an approximately 2,799m² section from upper roof to ground level to form a new recessed entrance, forming multiple skylight and vertical-circulation openings (for staircases, escalators, and lift shafts) from roof to basement 2, and demolishing internal staircases, shear walls, and atrium bridges throughout - all engineered and sequenced to maintain structural integrity within the live mall.
