Confronted with the daunting task of demolishing and removing off site an 80m section ofthe existing GSE Tunnel at Dubai International Airport in 7 days Diamond Edge Cutting accepted the challenge and successfully completed the project on schedule without any incidence or accident.

The section of tunnel to be removed consisted of 3600 cubic metres of heavily reinforced concrete and was successfully demolished using 2 number 45 ton excavators with breaking hammers, 3 number 30 ton excavators with breaking hammers and 2 number 30 ton excavators with demolition buckets. To remove the resulting debris off site as it accumulated Diamond Edge Cutting LLC used 2 number wheeled loading shovels and a fleet of trucks consisting of 6 number 20m3 trucks, 2 number 35m3 trailers and  number 45m3 trailers.
